My first song with lyrics in Italian (at least half of it,) composed in lockdown. The melody arrived (as many do) in a dream and harmonically I drew inspiration from Oscar Hammerstein’s writing. The result is a lyrical love duet that I hope carries both operatic romance and a touch of Broadway warmth.
