Written in response to the tragic terrorist attacks in Paris, this piece arrived while I was driving to work at Sage Gateshead. I had to pull over and hum it into a voice memo. Later, I transcribed it and the song was performed in a video that reached as far as the French President and David Cameron. Originally sung by my sister, Ciaran Jasper, it remains one of my earliest but most significant works.
